Sitka Black-tailed bucks come into a rut and begin chasing doe’s late October, with the peak rut being mid-late November. A mature Sitka black-tailed buck weighs 150 to 200 pounds when field-dressed and can sport an impressive set of antlers. The opportunity to collect a trophy Sitka black-tailed deer makes for a great hunting experience. Typical daily schedule: Each day clients will begin with a hearty breakfast, then they are off to hunt around our camp or transported by boat to a choice location. Clients will be given a box lunch, snacks, beverages, and hunt in pairs or as a group.
